Female Figure Paintings
This series of paintings is based on the female figure.
Retro Paintings
This is a series of paintings inspired by the Ziegfeld Follies era and the girls of vintage burlesque.
Master Studies
This series of paintings is based on studies of painters of the past and present. This has been a learning mechanism used by artists across the centuries. The study of Sargent’s cavaliers is based on his study of a Velasquez which is part of a series of studies he made in the Prado Museum in Madrid. Robert Maguire created many fantastic images which were used on pulp fiction book covers in the 1950’s and Lucian Freud is one of my favorites.

I’m not a great judge of art per se but any one who can capture the feelings your Newhaven series evoked in the wife and I deserves at least an Email in praise.
I thought your portrait of Kenny Welsh was good but these are superb. Thanks.
