St Baldreds Boat from Seacliff Beach

Another great trip to Seacliff Beach last Thursday. Explored the ruins of Auldhame Castle through the forest of nettles and then did an oil sketch of St Baldreds Boat and St Baldreds Cross from the beach.

Bass Rock from Seacliff Beach

A fabulous day painting down at Seacliff Beach last Thursday, a very special place indeed. This is an oil sketch of the Bass Rock from the beach. Looking forward to doing many more paintings from this place in all weather conditions!  My idea is to develop some narrative, figurative paintings using the magical landscape of Seacliff!

The Boat that didn't come home

The dust has now settled on my last festival exhibition. Many paintings and prints are now in their new homes. The largest painting (shown above) is being shipped to Beijing, others to New Zealand, South Korea and London. Many thanks to all my new and existing clients. Your support is very much appreciated.

I am also delighted to announce that my next major exhibition will be at Gallery 17 during the Edinburgh Festival from Saturday 13th August to Sunday 28th August 2016.
