Irene Watt playing at Herring Lassies Opening Night

I’m delighted to say that Irene Watt will be playing at the opening night of my Herring Lassies exhibition. Irene is a Singer and Harpist who has a catalogue of Herring Lassie songs. Her mother and her grandmother were both Herring Lassies. I saw Irene on the “One Show” on BBC1 talking about the Herring Lassies songs and I am really looking forward to see her playing in the gallery on the opening night of the exhibition (Saturday 10th March 2012).
